Pitlochry Guide

The Scottish town of Pitlochry is one of the main tourist areas within Perthshire. This town is well known for its hydroelectric dam and also its surrounding scenery. The Pitlochry dam is home to a salmon ladder - however the salmon do not actually jump up the ladder, they swim through the pipes that conect a series of chambers. There is an observation room in this dam, which allows people to watch the salmon underneath the water through a glass window.
