Your Guided Salmon Fishing Day begins with a Spey casting lesson on the River Tay, set amongst the stunning scenery of Highland Perthshire. Using a traditional double-handed Spey rod, you’ll learn how to effectively fish through a salmon pool, understand salmon behaviour, and discover the techniques used to hook salmon on the fly. Throughout the day, your guide will share valuable insights into salmon fishing in Scotland and the unique characteristics of the River Tay.

All fishing equipment, permits and personal guiding are provided, so all you need to bring is a waterproof jacket, a thick pair of socks, a hat or cap, and sunglasses or your own spectacles if required.
