Stanley Mills

Stanley Mills is one of the best-preserved relics of the Industrial Revolution where you can learn about the textiles that were produced there for 200 years. Located along a bend in the River Tay, 30 minutes from Pitlochry.
At the visitor centre, you can find out about the lives of the people who worked at Stanley Mills and how things have changed throughout the years with the introduction of new technology and innovation. Explore interactive displays and games and listen to the Gaelic poetry and stories of the displaced Highlanders who worked there. An informative visit for all the family during your stay in Pitlochry. Enjoy a day out with the kids and have a picnic during your time on the grounds with tea and coffee making facilities.
