Pitlochry town is located in the geographical centre of Scotland, just off the main A9 Scottish trunk road system so is easily accessible by road, rail and bus.
Atholl Palace Hotel & The Lodges by Atholl Palace
Approaching Pitlochry from the South, take the A924 (signposted for Pitlochry) off the A9. After passing the Blair Athol distillery, on your right, continue under a railway bridge and turn right into the Atholl Palace entrance. From the north, take the A924 (signposted for Pitlochry) off the A9. The A924 is the main street through Pitlochry. Continue right through the town and turn sharp left just before the railway bridge.
Fisher’s Hotel
Leaving the A9 slip road, continue until you reach the centre of the town and you will see Fisher’s Hotel on your left.
Scotlands Spa Hotel
Leaving the A9 slip road, follow the road towards the town centre you will pass the visitors’ centre on your right, you are then looking for Bonnethill Road which is the next road on your right. Scotland’s Spa Hotel is 100 yards up the hill and on your left.
Train & Coach Services to Pitlochry
Pitlochry’s main line train station is situated a short walk from Fisher’s Hotel and Scotlands Spa Hotel and 15 to 20 minute walk from Atholl Palace Hotel. The picturesque station serves trains north to Inverness and south to London. There are regular services to Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Pitlochry is served by all major coach operators, services run daily from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Perth.

The closest major airport is Edinburgh, at just over 1 hour away by car. It has services by over 50 airlines, including 200 flights to London daily and regular direct services to Europe and New York. Glasgow International is 1½ hours away and Prestwick 2 hours.
