The New Years Day Street Party in Pitlochry is no sedate affair. The famous street party attracts visitors from around Scotland as well as locals and tourists, many people travel miles to attend the event. With music and dancing in the street from 1pm, what better way to start the year. The street Ceilidh takes place right outside Fisher’s and closes the road to make way for the impromptu dance floor. The event is free of charge, all that is asked is a small donation which will contribute to the party the following year.
